Alliance Launches SightNation Supergroup for Members

Monmouth IL (September 23, 2011) -  The Alliance Buying Group in partnership with SightNation launched the Alliance Supergroup social media page during a membership breakfast at Vision Expo West.   The Alliance had over 65 members in attendance for the breakfast.   Bill Scott, Vice President, Group Publisher and Head of Research for Jobson Medical Information’s Optical Group, presented the new features of the SightNation Supergroup which will offer The Alliance members the ability to collaborate through this platform.  The mission of the Alliance SightNation Supergroup is to build Alliance membership groups across all segments of the optical industry and eyecare fields through the open exchange of news, information, resources, discussion and other user-generated content.   The Supergroup site will allow Alliance members to work and communicate together on real issues affecting their practice and optical industry. Additional features will allow members to link up with other ECP’s across the nation to share thoughts, ideas and clinical experiences.  The site will provide on-going vendor promotions, updates on vendor product releases; connection to Alliance’s other social media sites, career and employment services, educational opportunities and many other resources to help enrich services at the practice level.
